Fabulous little bolt hole in the heart of the city.
Fabulous little bolt hole in the heart of the city. Comfortable and loved the mezzanine bed - reminded me of some where I lived in London. Dressing room was a nice touch. Breakfast baskets great delivered to the door by kind hosts.Guest review bySchaffer - 10.0

Everyone was so very friendly. Gorgeous city to wonder around. Lots of great food, well priced. LOTS of pasties😍We didn't do any shopping. We went to see the city and enjoy the atmosphere. I really did love my stay here. Definitely recommend going.Guest review byNigelIreland - 8.0

It was an amazing experience.Had a lovely time enjoying it to the full. The religious experience added to the beautifull nature and the culture of the place makes it very special. Would like to visit again as it was very serene and peacefull too.Guest review byCamilleri - 10.0

Lovely seaside town, which is particularly great to visit outside of peak season. Lots of surfers, but there's plenty to do for non-surfers, too. Try the local cuisine, which is widely available in the town market, and restaurants have a high standard for affordable fare.Guest review byStephenGermany - 10.0

The BandB was centrally situated from the Chateaux area of Medoc. Only an hour's drive to the picturesque areas of Arcachon, cap Ferret and Dune du Pilat and just 12 minutes to downtown Bordeaux. We drove to areas an hour or more away and used Uber to and from downtown Bordeaux. We really enjoyed the wonderful Italian food from Palatino. We enjoyed a tour to the quaint town of Saint Emelion as well as Chateaux Tour Baldoz. Using the very informative Tourist Office we took an informative boat tour on the Garonne river as well as a mini train ride around the city. The Cite du Vin was so informative.Guest review byjonathanCanada - 8.0

Bayone is a very historic city in the French side of the Basque Country. The old town is charming with plenty of chocolate shops. Saturday all the shops are open but Sunday the town is shut down so plan accordingly. We visited the Basque museum on Sunday - well worth a visit.Guest review byCristinaUnited States - 10.0
Beautiful place!
Beautiful place! The waitress in Diego's restaurant on the front was very patient and helpful with our group of 14. Food delicious, not cheap, but well worth it... we went back a second night. Alma Mia's for nummy pizza's etc. Lots of little cafes for crepes and cheeses. Beach and sea clean... perfect!.Guest review byLoughlin - 8.0
A good town to visit for a weekend.
A good town to visit for a weekend. Lots of shops and restaurants. A great beach with a nice esplanade. I wouldn't recommend the restaurants for vegans, because there are very few veg options (except for salads loaded with non-vegan toppings). The covered market offers some nice, fresh foods. There was a nice man selling organic spices.Guest review byCharlotteFrance - 6.0
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was disappointing and too expensive for what it was. Good place to stay if you have an early morning flight out of Toulouse.Guest review byAnneCanada - 10.0
What a charming town.
What a charming town. The pedestrian streets are full of shops, restaurants, wine bars, bakeries -- you name it. The city has a nice blend of historical buildings and modern amenities. And the view of the Pyrenees is spectacular. We were there in a less-busy season, but there is still lots of energy, and people out & about. Make sure you pay attention to shop & restaurant closing hours & days -- you may have to plan ahead a little. It's a great jumping-off place to explore the mountains -- and make sure you visit the whitewater park (Parc des Eaux Vives). We would go back to Pau in a heartbeat,Guest review byE BellitUnited States
