Breakfast was incredible, an amazing selection of cold and hot.

The location was excellent in terms of atmoshphere and the surroundings, a bit hard to reach if you are traveling by car but that is the only downside. The hotel restaurant and staff were absolutely amazing.

I feel very lucky in discovering this place. The owner, Andre, is extremely generous and kind. As an older man, I was in need of such hospitality, as I arrived suffering from heat exhaustion due to cycling too long in the hills on a very hot day. Due to my condition, I had arrived several hours later than expected in the early evening. He took one look at me, offered me a coke, some chit chat, and continued with his friendly smile. He asked if I had eaten dinner yet. I said no and mumbled about seeing some pizza parlor about 2 KM away that I had passed while cycling to the place. He told me of course and would take care of me. He showed me the delightful room and told me to return to the backyard patio after showering. When I did, he presented me with literally a pot of homemade minestrone, bread, another coke, water, and a slice of homemade strudel. Hint to other travelers: this place is an inn with a restaurant opened form Wednesday through Sunday. I ate there on my second night and was a happy camper. The breakfasts were perfect both mornings too 🙂. The price is too cheap for what it’s worth. At least, I was not the only touring cyclist taking advantage of this steal of a deal! I love having the chance to support individuals like Andre and his lovely family. Fantastic.

The location was very convenient and extremely close to the border. The rooms were clean and what we expected, and the kitchen and bathroom were very nice! Josef and Eva were amazing hosts, she translated our English for him and they were incredibly kind with helping us out throughout our stay.

It was a beautiful place, very clean, well appointed. Wonderful host. Lots of little extras! Small town with little pizzeria and bar next door, perfect for weary travelers. Very quiet and peaceful rural setting.

The location was perfect. Mrs. and Mr. Mrvcic were wonderful hosts. The rooms are great, comfortable, with a nice view, close to the gas station, as well as a local pub. Should we go back to Rupa, we will stay again here
