I loved my stay! There's so much love in every detail. It's set in the most stunning landscape. Even though it is one of the more remote places near Trang An, it's totally possible to get there without your own vehicle as the staff looks after you so well and makes sure of smooth ways of transportation. The communication already before my stay was amazing.

We had such a wonderful time here. The tenant was so thoughtful to us and made sure everything was ok. The place is near one of the best tour boat in Ninh Binh. It is also really calm, which is a real plus if you want to stay away from the crowd. That would mean though you will be 15 minutes away from the main city and 20 from Tam Coc. But taxis are cheap for westerners and you can also rent a motorbike at the homestay, which is a really good option (trafic much less crazy here) to enjoy the landscapes. The room had everything we needed, plus a big bathroom.

The Homestay is located outside of the City so you have to Rent a bike of you want to go downtown, the Homestay also offers free bicycles. It is on the river and the view is amazing. Pool was really nice and refreshing and the rooms were spacious and really clean. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the staff was very nice and friendly welcoming.

We really enjoyed our stay in Trang An Hometown Homestay. Everything about the accommodation and the hospitality we had received from the homestay was perfect! It was more than we could ever ask for. The family had given us so much warmth and careness in the period we were staying. They were also extremely helpful in providing us with necessary information and responding to any concerns we had. We felt very loved and belonged! and will definately go back again. There are free bicycles for touring the town :), and the room was very clean, neat and quiet during the night, and not to mention about its affordable price!!

    Its actually quite nice to walk around early in the morning...

    Its actually quite nice to walk around early in the morning before the other tourists arrive, but in reality it is a couple of quite nice by nothing special temples in the main complex, a nothing special temple out in a very scenic valley bewteen karst towers, and a totally uninspiring temple up quite a climb up some steep steps near the top of a hill.

    Accept the offer of a motorbike tour at the gate to see it all, otherwise you’ll never find all the locations. Trust the locals. They are trying to make a living sure - as we all are. But you gotta trust that apart from the odd taxi driver, in Vietnam most people ARE NOT trying to rip you off. Yes people offering directions are doing just that like you would at home. And do give some money to the lady monks who hold out their hands when you visit. It is how they survive. Don’t be cheap and mean please! I witnessed some bad white people behaviour here and in Tam Coc and Hoi An. Try not to be an asshole!

    A comfortable hotel in a beautiful nature location, near Cuc Phuong National Park. Hostess Anh was extremely helpful and assisted me to visit remote sites such as the Ho Citadel, a Unesco World Heritage site (not to be confused with Hoa Lu ancient capital), and the holy Perfume Pagoda which lies halfway between Ninh Binh and Hanoi.
