The breakfast was not included and it was very expensive. We did not use. The room had a depressing appearance and smelled of dampness. There were no power outlets anywhere near the beds. The hair dryer was like a toy! It was sooo weak that it was useless for all intensive purposes. The pool is tiny for all those people and the water was murky and uninviting. The jacuzzi water was only lukewarm. Overall, very overpriced for how ancient the lodge is.

Disneyland Paris

A Disneyland icon, the pink-tinted turrets of this fairy-tale palace really make you feel like you're standing in front of a castle from the French countryside. Watch out though – this one's guarded by a sleeping dragon, so you’ll need to tread carefully as you make your way inside, passing by stained-glass windows and tapestries. When night falls, the castle is illuminated by fireworks and a spectacular light show!

Be ready for a long wait (one hour approx to most attractions). And if you want a picture with characters (Millie, Minnie etc), you should first find them in the Parc, then wait another hour in line. The main thing you need to know: if you want to buy Ratatulle you can get it ONLY at the attraction and not any store. Another tip: the Grand Finale is very late, approx10

No need to visit unless you're a hardcore fan of Disney. Too few rides, lines are too long, Disneyworld app and premium pass(es) are essential (you don't want to wait 20-40 minutes in line to a short ride).

Saved a fortune by booking the halfboard option.

Saved a fortune by booking the halfboard option. Book months in advance for table, especially Marvel, Walts and Pirates. Take ziplock bags to put leftover food in for later. Hotels have filtered water taps to fill reusable bottles each morning. Wednesdays are busy with locals. Nicer and sometimes quicker to walk back to hotels rather than bus it. Quieter at entrance to park to watch parade than by castle. Toilets on right as you walk through Frontierland generally quieter. Crush's Coater is never ever below 60 mins wait if you are desperate the fastpass for this is €16 each. Disney is the most magical bubble in the world, such a unique experience for any age.

We visited at the time when there weren't so many people, so we didn't have to wait for long for the rides, max 35min. Our expreience was amazing, and we would recommend visiting this wonderful place. The fireworks at the end of the day are magnificent, even if they were 45min late. The only problem was the heat. Most of the park is concrete, full sun exposure, so I was so sorry for the children that had to endure that. You can buy food, but very limited and extremely pricey and to be honest, the same goes for drinks, which, in my opinion, is not ok, especially during the summer.

Gluten free dining etc is possible but not cheap.

Gluten free dining etc is possible but not cheap. Brasserie Rosalie in the village caters with choices and the stalls outside Ratatouille have gluten free galettes cooked on a discrete hob. Neither is mentioned in any of the many YouTube videos we researched. The better restaurants can all cope, Auberge de Cendrillon character meal costs the earth but is really good.

We had the perfect day there. Sunny but not too warm.

We had the perfect day there. Sunny but not too warm. Lots of people but the lines were not unbearably long. If you don't mind riding a ride with strangers, use the "single rider" line when it is available. That cuts down on a lot of waiting. Even if a restaurant indicates that they are fully booked with reservations, ask if you can be seated. Especially if you are just 2 or 3, they will sometimes fit you in.
