Lopes Mendes Beach
You’ll have to work hard to earn the deserted slice of paradise that is Lopes Mendes Beach. The T10 trail from Vila do Abraão itself isn’t so difficult, but the two-hour trek in sticky rainforest climate can be a tough slog. Still, it’s worth it for that moment when you happen upon the pure white sand and crystal blue waters of Ilha Grande’s most beautiful beach.

Its just a tourist trap, If I had the chance to return and opt for not pay to go there I would. In general is a beautiful beach for pictures, but not to stay or even swimming, the waves are too high and violent, are good just for surfers.Guest review byMarisiaIreland - 10.0
Stunning!
Stunning! Set off early morning so you get to spend the whole day at this magnificent Atlantic setting. Take the hike from Abraao and you can sail home from the nearby beach. Best bit was seeing up close a whole family of miko (marmosets).Guest review byAnabelleUnited Kingdom

There are numerous restaurants, bars and supermarkets near the hotel and the trailhead to hike to Lopes Mendes Beach is just a kilometer away. The rooms are clean and comfortable with decent Wi-Fi. The hotel offers a typical Brazilian breakfast served by the very friendly morning staff.
