Ideally located just a 10-minute walk from the iconic Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Guesthouse Soi offers various rooms including private Japanese-style rooms and dormitory rooms. The place is very good located, close from Gion but in a quiet street, the Room is confortable, big enough for a couple. The staff was incredible, Sim the owner makes you feel at home and gives us the best advice for our itineraries. I will go again to Kyoto and stay as well at this place!!

Attractively located in Kyoto, Guesthouse Go Sign features air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge and free WiFi. Stellar value for a hostel. Location was very nearby many places to eat and right down the street from a public bathhouse. Several minutes walk to Kyoto Station. Building and rooms were cleaned and maintained daily. Masa was very friendly, accommodating, and helped me find several places in Kyoto that I enjoyed going to very much. I made repeated visits to two of the places (a local bar and the bathhouse) that were recommended to me and was very happy with the recommendations. I came away with a very positive impression of the place and would very happily come back to stay there again if/when I return to visit Kyoto.

Set in Kyoto, less than 1 km from Gion Shijo Station and a 13-minute walk from Kiyomizu-dera Temple, 東山の宿 藤屋 offers air conditioning. We had a truly wonderful stay at Linda‘s place! She is very welcoming and always ready to help you if you have any questions or problems. We felt like home from the beginning. The place itself has everything that you need, is very comfortable and located in a beautiful area next to a beautiful temple and a nice area to stroll around. On top you get to experience sleeping on a futon which is way more comfortable than we expected! We recommend this place to anyone that wants to visit Kyoto and would definitely come again! Featuring a garden and views of garden, Azukiya is a recently renovated guest house located in Kyoto, 700 metres from Shoren-in Temple. A hot tub and a bicycle rental service are available for guests.... The best experience on our Japan journey. I highly recommend staying here.

Kayako was the most perfect host and her cooking is divine. We loved our stay and the familial warmth and convenience of Rokkon.

Located in Kyoto, 2.3 km from Nijo Castle and 1.5 km from the centre, 遥華-Haruka House provides air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a garden. Everything was perfect👌🏼 We booked the smaller room but because the other one was free at the time, we got the bigger one and could use the bath and kitchen all by ourselves. Haruka and her husband were super friendly and welcoming! They gave us a lot of information about Kyoto 😊 We would recommend it to everyone!

Located in Kyoto and within 500 metres of Sanjusangen-do Temple, Kyo-Anthu Inn features a garden, soundproof rooms, and free WiFi. I really enjoyed my stay here! Location is in a residential area, making it a quiet respite after a whole day of sightseeing, while still being conveniently close to the center. Breakfast was also tasty and kindly brought into the room daily. Emiko-san and her family were very welcoming and accommodating. She even gave me a ride to Kyoto Station on my last day and always checked on me daily to see how I was. Very kind family. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Ideally located in the centre of Kyoto, Kokonoe Machiya offers air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. A perfect place for a Kyoto visit if you don't want to be around the tourist masses. The place is newly renovated and just thought out well, longest sleeps I had in Amy of my accommodations so far. The host (Tony) is a really nice guy with a lot of knowledge about the area and loves to talk and give recommendations.
