Our room was spacious, and the continental breakfast provided was really nice. The Schafberg cog railway ride to the top of the Schafberg mountain is unmissable if the weather is clear. Would love to return.

Located in the centre of Sankt Gilgen, Hotel-Pension Falkensteiner is 250 metres from the Zwölferhorn Cable Car and 400 metres from Lake Wolfgang. It offers free WiFi and provides bicycles free of charge. A private beach a 20-minute walk away. 1 the room and facilities were clinically clean. Absolutely amazing. 2 The breakfast was far more than expected. Personal service was great. 3 We were the last persons to leave the guest house - they actually closed the day before for their holiday, but Heidi postponed her arrangements to accommodate us. 4 When booking out, Heidi insisted to take us with luggage to the bus halt, although it was close enough to walk.

The terrace and the balconies in all apartments overlook the lake. The location is perfect, view from the room of the cows and the lake, a short walk to a private beach on the lake. The lake is clear and wasn't cold so we had a nice swim. The room is comfortable and the owner was very nice.
