Set in its own grounds, this beautifully restored 18th-century lodge offers a rustic pub with seasonally inspired food and cask ales. Convenient for the M6 Toll and M42 motorways, it is half an hour’s drive from Birmingham. All rooms at The Hedgehog by Innkeeper's Collection are fitted with a work desk and an en suite bathroom including free toiletries. Some boast original features and four-poster beds. Tea and coffee making facilities are also included. Lichfield’s famous medieval cathedral can be found 6 minutes’ drive from the lodge. Guests can also enjoy a walk in the Darwin Park (0.8 miles) or visit Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum (1.6 miles).
