Located next to the Stadium of Light, the home of Sunderland Football Club, Hilton Garden Inn is situated 15 minutes' walk from Sunderland city centre and 5 minutes' drive from the sandy beaches of Roker and Seaburn. Guests will also benefit from free WiFi, an on-site grill restaurant and bar. On-site parking with cost £5 per 24hr and a complimentary 24-hour fitness centre are also provided. Each guest room at Hilton Garden Inn Sunderland features a 32-inch LCD TV, en-suite bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities. Some also feature floor-to-ceiling windows. A freshly prepared breakfast is served daily in the on-site restaurant, along with lunch and dinner. There is also a small shop which sells drinks and a variety of ready-to-cook meals for the in-room microwave or mini fridge. American cuisine is served in the Karbon Grill restaurant, with specialty steaks, ribs, burgers, seafood and sharing platters. The hotel also has a 24-hour business centre and meeting rooms available. The nearest airport is Newcastle International, 30 minutes' drive from the hotel.
