After 2 weeks of traveling Japan with our two kids and stopping at hotels, this house was our opportunity to get embedded into "real" Japanese life - doing groceries, some cooking, etc. We loved the experience, and the house is just fabulous - spacious, beautiful, with all infrastructure you need. We can highly recommend this place for families!

Absolutely loved the character and charm of the hotel, the facilities, the lounge area for breakfast/evening drinks, ease of use of the washer/dryer that was there. The hotel was in a quiet residential section of Kyoto, yet access to Nijo Castle, the Imperial Palace and downtown Kyoto was very easy and within a 15 minute walk. Access to the train stations and Uber/Taxi's were equally easy. Amazing local restaurants within walking distance of the Hotel - highly recommend Daigan around the corner for an amazing sushi with an engaging/entertaining/welcoming chef.

Koume no tonari コウメノトナリ ligger i Sakyo Ward i Kyoto, 4 minutters gange fra Samurai Kembu Kyoto, 700 meter fra Shōren-in-tempelet og 12 minutters gange fra Heian-helligdommen. it’s very large space that was well equipped with a washing machine, a very comfy bed, all bathing amenities and a tv with netflix connection. it also has a very nice modern aesthetic and is super close to a metro station.

The staff waited for us to arrive and assist us with check-in even though we forgot to update them on our arrival timing. The room itself was really nice and comfortable, facilities and heating was really good. Staff was very friendly and the interior design of the room was very traditionally Japanese.

It was an amazing property and furnished very nice. We enjoyed the rooms, bathroom, living room, pyjamas ( haha ) and eveything. If we return to Kyoto, we will not stay at any other place. Rinn Tsukimowa impressed us very much ! It is a high quality place. I highly recommend!
