Located in Tokyo, 1.7 km from Uramori Inari Shrine, Mercure Tokyo Haneda Airport provides accommodation with a restaurant, private parking and a bar. Very spacious room with great design, ideal when traveling with a lot of suitcases, closet, very comfortable bed, great amenities which were refilled every day, big bathroom, wide window with nice night view, the sofa and table are nice for relaxing or working, and has main as well as ambient lighting. The AC is great (for people sensitive to air current is ideal, as it's not directed to the bed), and even though it was winter, the room was warm and didn't necessarily needed heating. The staff was very kind (especially at the reception bar) and helpful. The location is convenient next to the airport, and there is a direct metro line to some of the central parts of Tokyo.

Well situated in Kyoto, ASAI Kyoto Shijo offers air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi and a bar. The staff always tried their best to help us in every aspect. The hotel has a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere, our room was also nice and for Japanese standards quite spacious (you also can put your luggage underneath the bed to save space). But our personal favorite was the bar and the restaurant within the hotel! We fell in love with the food they served for dinner!
