Surprisingly good breakfast items for take-away at the bar. Otherwise as advertised: clean, modern, new room facilities. Quiet despite location next to the HWY. Easy drive to Banff, but also walk to a cafe or restaurant.

Cannery Lofts Niagara ligger i Niagara Falls, 2,1 kilometer fra Old Falls Street og 1,8 kilometer fra Rainbow Bridge. Dette 4-stjerners hotellet har en døgnåpen resepsjon. A pleasant surprise, just 5-10 minutes on foot from the view of the falls but at the same time far enough to not hear the noise of the amusement park in the city center (the center of Niagara Falls was, in fact, an unpleasant surprise…). The location is therefore excellent, and the room is very spacious, with the possibility to cook and eat in the room. The structure has recently open and the price (August 2024) was very competitive compared to other hotels

I Saint-Siméon, bare 38 kilometer fra Park les Sources Joyeuses de la Malbaie og 34 kilometer fra Charlevoix Museum ligger Horizon 777. We had so much fun at Horizon 777. Best hotel in the place. It's taken care by the owner who adds touches of care and love in every corner or the hotel. There's the rosemary bushes in front of each room that give off a slight spa aroma. The view from the room's balcony is insane. In the morning there is handmade fresh croissants and rhubarb muffins. The rhubarb is picked from his extensive gardens. The breakfast also has fruit, juice, yogurt and excellent coffee and handmade cupcakes. I also asked for a fire on a dreary and gray day where the wood was wet. The owner worked hard for 30minutes so I could have a lovely fire. All in all a very clean and homey stay. Would return in a heartbeat.
