A charming and peaceful city full of culture and history Hue is a beautiful and peaceful city in central Vietnam, perfect for travelers who enjoy history, culture, and slower-paced travel. The Imperial City, royal tombs, and pagodas are must-see landmarks, offering a deep insight into Vietnam’s rich heritage. The people in Hue are friendly and helpful, the local food is flavorful (especially bún bò Huế and cơm hến), and the Perfume River gives the whole city a calm, romantic atmosphere. Hue is less hectic than Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, which makes it a great destination for relaxing, sightseeing, and enjoying traditional Vietnamese life. I wish I had spent more time in Hue — the Imperial Citadel is incredibly beautiful, and there are so many tombs and historical monuments to explore. If I could redo my itinerary, I would definitely spend more time here instead of in Da Nang. It's a beautiful city.
It's a beautiful city. The Citadel is walking distance from the TCC Imperial Hotel. Although on a hot day Grab taxi will drive you there for D50,000. Very nice to walk around the area. The palace is very interesting. The food is good and varied. In the evening to cool down walk at the esplanade is great. Plent of Coffee shops are around.Guest review byMARIA385Australia

Enormous pool with pool bar and poolside dining. Staff were very attentive throughout the resort, especially Thanh from guest relations. Fantastic food at the restaurant. Breakfast was great with a good variety. Cocktails and canapes each afternoon were a lovely treat. Just a five minute taxi ride into Hue (we used Grab which is readily available).
