Everything was excellent, location, comfort. I especially enjoyed the free mini buffet they had near the reception. It was just some coffee, juices, snacks and water, but it was very nice. Overall a great hotel well worth its price and beyond.

Clean, centrally located, excellent customer service. Attentive 24 hour staff. Air conditioning was excellent for the hot July days - so many places do not have adequate A/C so this American appreciates being able to turn down the thermostat to 18 C / 65 degrees Also great showers with excellent water pressure. Towels were top notch and actually covered your body! There is an elevator!

Favorite spots were around the Coliseum area, enjoyed the lights at night. We tried to eat at places away from tourist spots in order to get local food. However, we ate at the Hard Rock Cafe once because my grandson collects Hard Rock hoodies. Food was good wherever we ate. Did not eat near train station. Had gelato once+ a day. Staying near Termini makes it very easy to travel via subway. My grandson is 18 years old; so he and I both enjoyed the tourist/cultural sights. Worst thing about our trip was the breakfast in the Vatican Garden. We were seated in an isolated place; were not served with rest of our group and had only 10 minutes to eat--were virtually ignored. Eggs and very thick bacon not eatable. No pastry or fruit; reception host/man was very rude when I told him we had not been served. Rest of our group had eaten. Did not even acknowledge me. This event is acceptable only because there seemed to be fewer people in the Sistine Chapel, which was part of the tour, than when I was there a few years ago. I was really looking forward to the Vatican breakfast, so I was extremely disappointed. Everything in Rome was crowded because of summer and the Vatican Jubilee. However, trip was a graduation present for my grandson, so the timing was the best for us. We went to Florence, Pisa, Positano, and Pompeii, also. Better to travel during shoulder season. All in all, trip was really nice! I reconnected with my grandson and had a lovely time overall.

There is so much to do and aside from the crazy driving everything is so peaceful and calm! The Italians are exceptional people and appreciate SO MUCH you trying to fit into their culture (my Italian is rubbish but everyone was always so greatful for me trying and seemed genuinely pleased for it!) please do respect the people and their culture! The only negative we saw were people from other countries not appreciating this!

    All roads lead to Rome!

All roads lead to Rome! But don't forget the veeery comfortable shoes - 20.000 steps daily is very easily reached! Don't forget to book the tickets to attractions well in advance. Plan every day in advance, otherwise you will miss some beautiful places. Turbopass ticket turned out to be a good solution - it provided tickets to main attractions and hop-on / hop-off bus ride. Beware of pickpockets - it's true that you will find this warning from the airport to the restaurant tables, and you may think that it is an exaggeration, but we really had this experience in the city bus - luckily, we noticed on time, so no harm done...

I loved Rome, but I would never return in July/August. Everyone wants to see the same sites, which is understandable, however, it's uncomfortable being in crowds in such heat. The shopping experience is excellent, and the best sales of the year are in the first week of July. I met women from the US that come every year at this time to "hit the sales"! Take guided tours, use the Hop On Hop Off Bus service.

I really enjoyed Rome and wish I had more days here, but we had a few experiences where we felt that the locals in Italy were unhappy with the tourists. We walked into a store that sold Birkenstock and was approached by the store employee that discouraged us from looking at the shoe in the window, and the plaque card (made of plastic - no biggie) that had the price of the shoe fell, he was unhappy and told me to not touch the shoe, which I felt was not great hospitality. At the end of the day, I am a customer and I was really looking forward to buying that Birkenstock from that store but when the employee discouraged me and started saying something in Italian under his breath, I had no interest and I think this is something that needs to change. The attitude (which I am sure is understandable due to illegal migrants that are in the country) is not helpful to him or the country.

I like this hotel because of its convenient location. It is so close to Termini station, so if you travel across Italy, this variant will be the best. The room was small but clean, good air conditioning, it was important for us because the temperature was +37+38 in August in Rome. The staff was friendly, they explained everything that we wanted to know. I think the breakfast was good, it was an ordinary European breakfast (coffee, juice, bread, cheese, jam, croissants).

I loved it so much that I will always come back when in Rome. I do consider this the best hotel I’ve stayed in Italy, and overall excellent value for money too. Thank you so much TB Place Roma, it was great to stay with you and looking forward to the next time.

This was the best hotel in Italy we have visited out of 7. Very clean, comfortable and with good vibe. Great outdoor swimming pool - we loved it after hot day. But the best was customer service. We have left a wallet and they helped us a lot and sent the wallet back. Location was good, not far from the metro station and when we used taxi from the city centre was not expensive. We had a very good time.
