The place itself is wonderful but when we got into room 9 the bathroom door had a whole in it where it looked like it had been punched and my disabled wife needs 3 pillows so we always bring an extra but we only had 1 each so I was without pillows all night.

The staff are wonderful. The hotel is family run, with multiple members involved day to day. They are supported by a willing and enthusiastic team. Breakfast was included, and came with a lot of choice from cereal to full English. I noticed a vegetarian full breakfast is offered too. We ate all of our evening meals there for convenience, the food is top quality, well prepared and generous. Biggest fish I have ever seen in their fish and chips. It is a Victorian building so the layout is quirky, but the room and bathroom offered everything that we needed. The location is perfect for a theatre visit, the little park between the hotel and the theatre is very pretty.

Like many areas it is very run down in places and you can get pestered by beggars. Transport on the whole is good but working out routes can be quite confusing. The free museums are a must to visit as is the art gallery.

Hull is a great place with lots to do! We did a history walking tour of Hull giving us a new perspective of its place in the past!! Fantastic walks near the Humber bridge with beautiful areas for picnics, play areas for kids etc. Lots of local parks with great scenery, small animal areas and aviaries. Great selection of Museums in Hull several aimed at kids like Streetlife and the Old School room...all within short walk of each other. Plenty of food options 😋 catering to everyone's tastes.

Lots of things to do, a very historic City with so many amazing buildings. The old town is fantastic and the people are so friendly. There are lots of bars and food places and the prices are reasonable. Public transport is plentiful and cheap, although everything in the centre including the main attractions are within walking distance.

It is a much improved city. Great culture and architecture and 9 fabulous museums. The city centre dock area has a great deal of history. It is also a good jumping off port for Europe. The people are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Good place.

At present, there is a lot of road building work in progress and sometimes you have to figure out a way across main roads. Some central areas seem very dilapidated and in need of tlc. Other than that there are some very interesting attractions with the Minster, aquarium, museums and art gallery - all within walking distance. The riverscape is impressive in its size although low tide is basically mud. The city has a long history and this is best reflected in the area designated as Old Town where narrow, cobbled streets have been retained. Picturesque, if hard on the feet.

The hotel is located right next to the train station and a big shopping centre, making it a good starting point for discovering Hull. Staff were all super nice and allowed me to check-in a bit early, which I appreciated very much. The room/bathroom were spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable and wi-fi worked very well. There was a good selection of hot and cold produce during breakfast. I would gladly stay here again for the price I paid.

This is closest hotel for the Bonus arena and city centre just a very short walk, it was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, this hotel is value for money, parking in the multi-story next door must be the cheapest anywhere for a city at £3 for 24hrs, I think Hull city actually wants visitors to come even the museums are free and very good.

The location was perfect overlooking the Marina yet a quick walk over the bridge into the city centre and the Bonus arena. All staff we encountered during our stay were lovely and friendly from the receptionists to the breakfast ladies. Although the bar 'closed' we were able to continue drinking late, ordering via reception. The hotel felt much more upmarket than expected.
