Maganda ang lokasyon ng "DueEmme Lodge", a pochi passi dal porto sa Livorno, 27 km lang mula sa Piazza dei Miracoli at 27 km mula sa Pisa Cathedral. When I arrived, it was before the advertised check in time of 2:00. I called Marco anyway to see if I could gain access. He immediately met me downstairs and greeted me warmly. We went up to the room and he immediately had me hooked into the WiFi. Beautiful high ceiling room with a very comfortable bed and a VERY effective air conditioner. Location is perfect for exploring the city. Thank you, Marco for making my stay enjoyable. PS the spread of food and snacks was MORE than enough!

Exceptional value for money. This apartment is relatively basic but it very clean and has everything you need. We only stayed a couple of days to make some hiking, and we didn't use the kitchen very much - but it's quite good enough for a self catering holiday. The Albergo practically next door has good food and wine and also the pizzeria 300m up the road was excellent (pana cottta chocolata is to die for!) Peaceful & quiet village about 10 minutes drive to Abetone. We found everyone very friendly and kind.
