The staff was amazing - so kind and helpful! The rooms and shared spaces were very clean, well kept, and comfortable. The Wi-Fi was great as well. I had some work to do and using the cafe or open space between the rooms was really good for this.

All capsule hotels in Singapore

Looking for a capsule hotel?

Developed in Japan, these cheap “pod” hotels are a novelty for any traveler. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodations are basic and intended to be overnight. There's separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms. Some capsule hotels also have a sentō – a Japanese bath house, usually for male guests only.

It was located in the heart of Chinatown, it was very clean and the personel were friendly. Also it was our first time in a capsule hotel and we liked it a lot, it was very well arranged with ready to use easy to reach lockers and a lot of space and very clean and comfortable

The room was comfortable and spacious and the sound proofing between rooms was great. There were good breakfast options which covered a wide range of cultures. The hotel was directly opposite a Hawker Centre which was our goto place for dinner and a five minute walk from Gampong Glam. The train station was a 10 minute walk away and a really cheap way to get around Singapore. The staff were all very friendly.

Overall, a great place to stay! This was my first time staying in a capsule hotel and it exceeded my expectations. The pods were clean and more spacious than I expected. I was able to sit up in my capsule and it didn’t feel claustrophobic at all which I was afraid of (I’m 165cm tall). There is a locker that works with a key card to store your suitcase in and the shared bathroom was ok. Clean towels and linen. Good location near Chinatown and you can also walk to the Marina Bay area or use the metro. Would recommend!

The location is very convenient, it is above Novena metro station, we used the metro throughout our stay and it was cheap and very pristine. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The concierge was extremely knowledgeable, providing lots of information and tips about places to see, places to eat, best times to visit places etc. Our room was very comfortable, it had everything we could possibly want and it was larger than we'd expected, the view was great. We spent 6 nights and we would definitely stay there again.

The hotel's owner was beneficial, I was here for the 2nd time, the First time I was alone and he helped me with the luggage. I appreciate that. The place is in a convenient location, for train bus and also for taxi pickup. Around the hotel, there are many budget-friendly food places too.

Mary was super kind and friendly with us ❤️ the atmosphere is funny but still quiet, the capsules have the sounds of space ships as heard in the space movies and the staff is friendly and ready to help you with any questions or needs. Don't expect a fancy place, is a capsule hotel, if you're looking for a private toilet in your room then look for a different experience. This place was the best solution for our tourist on a budget needs.

Staff were attentive and helpful. Good basic breakfast with cornflakes, toast & variety of spreads and pots of tea and coffee. Access to unlimited boiling water all day. Sleeping pods were surprisingly roomy and comfy with privacy curtains. A 10 minute walk to train station. Restaurants and cheap eats everywhere, including hawker centre 5 min walk. Quiet and convenient. Would definitely stay again.

Staff was very friendly. Had someone sick in the bunk bed and they relocated me, no questions asked. Also allowed me to leave my suitcase at the hotel and even take a final shower before taking my flight back home. Hotel is very clean and probably as good as a capsule hotel gets.

I had my own bathroom which is better than my friend who stayed in a capsule hotel, but the "room" part of the word "bathroom" is generous. Water provided. Vending machine just out the front of the hotel with cold drinks, which isn't really a plus for the hotel, but it was at least convenient.. Can you tell I am struggling on this section. Here we fam:

Backpacker Cozy Corner Guesthouse is a good budget option in Singapore, with an excellent location close to the public transport. The rooms were small but offered good value for money, particularly when compared to similarly priced capsule hotels. The staff was friendly and responsive, contributing to a positive experience. The air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked well in the room, and the place was clean enough for a comfortable stay.
