You'd usually pay three times as much for this kind of food. The location is excellent as a springboard to the wider Iya Vally. Book well in advance - this place is popular, and for good reason!

And the owner is very helpful and easy to contact. While I don't expect people in another country to speak my language, we were very happy that the owner spoke excellent English. We liked it so much we are coming back again after our pilgrimage around Shikoku.

Everything was very well laid out and the furniture layouts made the stay very comfortable. My wife and kids loved Chika’s tea cup and tea collection. She has a booklet for people who stayed to write in so be sure to work on that.
