Situado a 47 km de Mannou Park y a 48 km de Kotohiragu Shrine, Cosmos Guesthouse Iya Valley cuenta con habitaciones con aire acondicionado y un baño compartido en Akano. I liked everything about this accommodation. It was very clean, had all the amenities, and the bed was very comfortable. It’s a beautiful traditional guesthouse surrounding by nature, small gorge and tea plantation. I don’t know why people were complaining about the distance between the station and the guesthouse, the walk in between the station and the guesthouse is beautiful and refreshing. It’s just a beautiful valley with beautiful scenic views from every side. The owner also offered a pick up and drop off service. His family also picked me and other travelers for the local Yokai festival and I had an amazing time at the festival. I highly recommend this guesthouse. Due to time constraints, I couldn’t do the kayaking activity with the owner but next time I come back, I will definitely do. Thank you.

Situado en Miyoshi, a 37 km de Tsurugi-san Chairlift, Iya Kankou Ryokan cuenta con hospedaje con un jardín, estacionamiento privado de cortesía y un salón compartido. I stayed at the Ryokan which run by amazingly heartwarming family for 3 nights! It was soooooo memorable! The great Grandma, Deguchi san, such a cute and kind person and she takes care about everything including my plan at The Valley! She and her son (Kazuya san, he used to be a chef manager.) cook so delicious meals every single day with a different menu for dinner, it was sooooo delicious!! I really enjoyed chatting with other guests from over the world and it was very fun! My room and entire the accommodation was super clean! The location is perfect for looking around the vine bridge, there are several public bus services which run every 1 hour between Oboke station and the Kazurabashi. They offered a special discount for the nearest Onsen, called Hotel Kazurabashi Onsen which was so nice and plus point! (15 mins walks from the Ryokan.) There are only 5 rooms at the accommodation so book well beforehand to have such nice experience from the locals!! I really highly recommend here if visiting the Iya valley and will definitely come back to see the lovely family again in the near future for sure! Thank you very very much for the great experience and nice stay!! Everything, meals, atmosphere and staff are over 10 points, 100 of 10!!!

The hostel Alrik is very kind and has good tips for local activities. Besides, he made designed the place with style and keeps it clean. Even the beds were comfortable, whicht is quite rare for a Japanese style room. The neighbourhood offers some of the best mountain and Gorge views of the island. You can cook at the guesthouse or head out for diner at the local restaurants next to the guesthouse. Highly recommend to stay here.

This is a lovely spacious apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and even a deep hot tub to soak after a long day. The apartment was extremely clean. And the owner is very helpful and easy to contact. While I don't expect people in another country to speak my language, we were very happy that the owner spoke excellent English. We liked it so much we are coming back again after our pilgrimage around Shikoku.
