Ken is a great host and the house is right down the street from the first temple. Would recommend for anyone to stay!

Set in Naka, 36 km from Tokushima Station, いやし亭 心空 provides accommodation with a public bath. It’s located at the base of the ropeway after temple 20 - sairyuji. Great location and the staff speak English very well if your Japanese is lacking.

The host will willingly answer all your questions and help you with everything you might want to know for the pilgrimage. He is very nice and speaks enough english to explain stuff.

Very traditional ryokan, the lovely lady who owns it was super welcoming and guided us in dinner recommendations which was great - breakfast was delicious.

Set within 8.2 km of Mollusco Mugi Museum and 25 km of Hiwasa Chelonian Museum Caretta, 大砂荘 OZUNA CAMP and LODGE offers rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Kaiyo. One of my favourite place to stay in Japan. The sea view from the room and serene neighborhood are amazing. The facility is really great, especially common space at the outdoor where you can relaxing enjoy the sea; perfect to experience slow-paced travel. The owner is also genuinely kind. Thank you for the great place and hospitality.

Guesthouse徳島201 is set in Tokushima. The air-conditioned accommodation is 3.3 km from Tokushima Station, and guests can benefit from on-site private parking and complimentary WiFi. This is a lovely spacious apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and even a deep hot tub to soak after a long day. The apartment was extremely clean. And the owner is very helpful and easy to contact. While I don't expect people in another country to speak my language, we were very happy that the owner spoke excellent English. We liked it so much we are coming back again after our pilgrimage around Shikoku.

ArudenaiDay, a property with a garden, is situated in Tokushima, 3.2 km from Awa-Odori Community Hall, 3.7 km from Asty Tokushima, as well as 4.4 km from Sako Station. Very clean and well equipped with various amenities. The owner, Chika has amazing taste and you can see this in every aspect in the home. Everything was very well laid out and the furniture layouts made the stay very comfortable. My wife and kids loved Chika’s tea cup and tea collection. She has a booklet for people who stayed to write in so be sure to work on that.
