Charme Hotel al Torchio ligger i Ascona, 3,1 kilometer fra Piazza Grande Locarno og 41 kilometer fra Lugano jernbanestasjon. This was perhaps the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Besides that, accommodations were excellent for a small hotel. Breakfast was wonderful and staff was friendly and caring. Location excellent, right around the corner from the lake.

You would be helped at every point you need, warm welcome, the hotel looks brand new although its 3 years old. All people working there are very dedicated to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You have an option of welcome drinks and coffee/tea, snacks, water/local beer, in a hotel and will get tips on all Locarno activities. Bus stop 3 min walk, train stop 10 min walk, Locarno city center 20 min walk. Thank you for making my short stay so perfect. Grazie mille.

5-stjernershotellet Splendide Royal ble bygget i 1887, og er med sin århundreskifte-stil Luganos mest fasjonable hotell. Det ligger i hovedgaten i Lugano, rett ved innsjøen. Our visit at that hotel was exacting. Also restaurant was very tasty.

We were very privileged to have such attentive hosts who were always in touch and explained everything in detail. The apartment is clean, bright, and modern. Everything is well-organized. Despite the relatively small size, the space is used very efficiently, giving a feeling of spaciousness. All household items are clearly labeled, and some even have QR codes with instructions. Although the apartment is not located in the city center, it has a convenient and cozy location. It’s just a 10-minute walk to the beach, with shops and restaurants nearby. Regarding parking – despite the warning that the space might be tight for large vehicles, our crossover fit comfortably (you just need to be careful when entering).

I Riazzino, 8,9 kilometer fra Piazza Grande Locarno, ligger Dorint Resort & Spa Locarno-Riazzino, som har en fellesstue, privat parkering, en restaurant og en bar. Stort og fint med HC rom. Personalet var hyggelig og hjelsom. Det beste var hotelet brød; skikkelig god med sprø skorper. God frokost med ulike utvalg:)

I Brusino Arsizio, 12 kilometer fra Mendrisio jernbanestasjon, ligger Villa Patria B&B, som har en hage, privat parkering, en terrasse og en bar. What a beautiful place! Get out of the rush and into this dream place directly at the lake! Many thanks for the clean room and the very friendly stuff, it feels like home!

Locanda della Masseria a Porza, Lugano ligger i Porza og har en hage, restaurant, bar og gratis WiFi over hele overnattingsstedet. Super clean and well designed. Very atmospheric too. Breakfast is worth it. Great variety of things to eat. You can tell that a person in charge of the place takes care of details.
