This Vágar Island hotel is situated in the picturesque fishing village of Sørvágur, just a 2-minute walk from Vágar Airport. It offers free parking and impressive views of the landscape. Sehr sauber, super nettes Personal, wir haben uns für die 2 Tage das angebotene Frühstück vom Haus für 195 ,- geleistet. Es war lecker und ausreichend. Es hat nichts gefehlt. Wenn mal was alle war, wurde sofort ausgefüllt. Unsere Motorräder konnten wir unters Vordach am Eingangsbereich wind- und wettergeschützt abstellen. Küche fährt sehr gutes Essen mit erhöhten Niveau. Die Nähe zum Flughafen störte uns nicht. Zwischen 19.00 und 7.30 herrscht kein Flugbetrieb. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden für die zwei Tage, ich würde wieder dort buchen.

We usually stay in hotels, so renting a house was something new for us — and it turned out to be a great experience! The place was just what we were looking for: no smoke smell, no old or strange odors, clean, simple, and very comfortable. The hosts were very professional — not overly involved, but also not careless. I really appreciated their help when I couldn’t figure out how to start our rental Toyota car (it was new and a bit confusing). They kindly showed me how, and that honestly saved me a lot of stress. Tip: Please don’t rely on Google Maps to drive directly to the house. It brings you close, but not to the actual driveway — you’ll see the house but won’t be able to drive and park right in front. It’s a good idea to ask the host for detailed directions before you go. Also, be sure to read the guest guide ahead of time — it explains how to park and how to pay. Just note that they accept only Danish cash (DDK). One small thing: the Wi-Fi router is near the bedroom. If the internet gives you trouble, try rebooting the router — that fixed it for us. Like many budget routers, it just needs a little reset sometimes. Overall, we had a very smooth and pleasant stay!

The host was great and even gave ma a ride to the airport as the first bus did not stop at the airport. Otherwise the location is great and the bus stop is right i front of the property and 5 minutes waling from the harbour which is a meeting point for multiple hikes and of course the ferry. Heat was fantastic and totally silent heater/AC. Place was so well equipped as a full apt. It's in a beautiful location right by the beach - there is a beautiful back yard. Beds are comfortable. It's brand new and all you need. I would call it a big paradise.

We loved the location - such a great base for the first few days in the Faroes. The cottage had everything we needed, and there were so many small details, like hand knit slippers. We loved sitting on the porch and watching the birds - waking up to such a gorgeous view was just so lovely.

Schönes Gästehaus zum Ankommen auf den Färöer Inseln. Da mein Übernachtungstrip nach Mykines leider wetterbedingt (Rückfahrt wäre nicht möglich gewesen) storniert werden musste, hatte ich das Glück, dass ich im Gästehaus Hugo eine 2. Nacht buchen und somit Mykines als Tagesausflug machen konnte. Das Gästehaus ist ohne Frühstück, aber es gibt eine kleine Küche, wo man sich selbst etwas zubereiten kann (Supermarkt im Ort) oder auch ein süßes kleines Café mit sehr leckerem Frühstücksangebot.
