Situated in Solgne and only 16 km from Parc des Expositions de Metz, Solgne features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Booked for (unfortunately) only one night for our journey home (NL). Upon arrival a true color revolution! We were warmly welcomed and I suspect that we were their first guests so they made a little extra effort ;-) including a refrigerator full of cold water, a bowl of fruit, enough Nespresso cups, cookies for with coffee, and also a gift (a jar of real honey), and oh yes a bunch of flowers! After many experiences richer we are now prepared for all the shortcomings but here for once nothing was missing at all, okay there was no meat for the barbecue but there were coals! What an overcomplete accommodation and what a space, we were really completely surprised, especially for the price we paid. We also slept wonderfully and were able to continue our journey well rested. The accommodation is located in a quiet neighborhood on a private property that is closed off with a fence (so that the horses do not escape). Furthermore, there are security cameras (also in the accommodation). In the weekend you can possibly enjoy the local football club. For groceries there is an Aldi and a bakery nearby. Highly recommended!
