It was a beautiful house surrounded by lush gardens. The hosts were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay special. They even took 2 trips to drive our group to the airport in the morning!

Great people are working there! They are so helpful. We had a problem with our bags delivery and they helped to call the company even without asking for that. Hotel Garcas is located in the small town of Lavacolla, 10 km from the centre of Santiago de Compostela. It offers a traditional Galician restaurant with a covered terrace. A good hotel with a good restaurant and friendly staff. The only hotel within walking distance of the airport (about a mile from the hotel to terminal). Of course taxis or buses are available also. I did walk, there is a path the last 1/2 mile that takes you to the baggage level. Up one level and you are at ticketing/departures. A nice airport BTW.

Situated just 11 km from Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, Pension Xacobeo Lavacolla provides accommodation in Lavacolla with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a housekeeping service. The lady who welcomed us was very, very helpful. We were doing the Way of Saint James' (Camino de Santiago) northern route and we were pleasnly surprised by the Pensión. She provide us with all the info necessary for getting somenting to eat (either bar/restaurant or the local shop). The little garden in the back is very pleasant and you can eat al fresco.
