Hi I recently installed a new webpage in Wordpress. It worked and I got the theme window on my website. I use two browser - Chrome and Fire fox. Now time for me to start installing a new "ready made" theme. It all looked good on Chrome when finished. I opened the same link in Firefox, but Firefox has not changed to the latest theme. https://condorentalpattaya.com I am totally out of clue. Removing cookies and other memory related functions does not work. I do not use Cloudflare. It works on my mobile.

??? Thanks in advance, have a nice day

For a couple of days now Instagram linked videos won't play here. Actually some of them will -- my own reels and anything linked with that button that looks like a movie 'clapper'. But videos that show the triangular arrow pointing to the right, nothing happens when you click. Not sure if this is a FF issue or maybe something changed at Instagram. Did a google search and nothing came up.

For some time now i have had issues with the browser. I get many warnings on Facebook and elsewhere that my browser is not up to date. Even the weather channel does this and now blasts me with ads , as before i had ad blockers and now I do not. I have downloaded both 16 and 32 bit Firefox for Linux several times to no avail.I need simplified help as I am not that tech savvy and it is important to me as i spend much time doing activism , signing petitions and passing on the truth. Thank you in advance

I encounter PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR when accessing to some websites

mainly github google and stackoverflow

Sometimes "Reload current page" will work, with multiple tries

I am in China and I am using v2ray+v2rayA for accessing foreign websites (it is a necessity)

This issue happen only on firefox, as edge and chrome can access without error

Is there some settings to disable the PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR feature?

Hello everybody, I'm facing some problems with the camera settings: when accessing vcall sites (e. g. zoom or google meet) they don't ask permissions for the camera, it looks like I have no camera installed, which is not true, of course, and in fact with Ungoogled Chromium everything works fine. When trying to add manually the sites in the whitelist nothing happens, they're simply ignored. On the other side, the microphone settings work properly. Thanks in advance for any support.

I have logged into my account on three computers: personal linux, personal windows, and work. Previously, I could easily disable the extension on one computer and it continued to work on others. Now, when the "Plasma integrations" extension is disabled on Windows computers, it is also disabled on linux. If I disable some extensions on my work computer, it will also be disabled on my personal computers. If I disable extension synchronization on my work computer, it will also be disabled on others. That is, if I log in to my account on a new device, I will have to manually install extensions. Question: How can I return to the old behavior, when it was possible to disable installed extensions on only one device?

So, I'm going to pre-empt this by saying that I know what I am asking sounds crazy, so please do not call "the blue bus" quite yet. Please let me explain.

I use a browser for intranet work only. It's firefox, because frankly its all things that ARE NOT Google, nor Microsoft. Obviously Firefox will not let me remove all search engines, nor will any other Browser that *I* know of. Perhaps the community can advise me otherwise.

I also need to explain that when I say intranet, its not everything in one place, but everything is connected in one big widespread private network, access via putty or vpn. As such, the IP range is always private but over a number of subnets, all reachable from my location, which in many cases is remote access.

Having a search engine active means that if I enter something wrong in the IP addressing, it goes hunting and brings up search results. A 404 error would be far more appropriate.

So great and wider community of educated persons, I come to you one and all, and ask whether there is any way (mozilla approved or otherwise) that I can completely disable all searches in firefox ( My preferred browser as I have internet access options that are local to firefox, whereas other browsers who shall remain nameless rely on global access settings) or, as much as I have to ask, an alternative intranet only browser that could fulfil me requirements.

I'm hopeful that I have included enough information ( have to comply with my NDA here) that will allow you all to either laugh at me, or offer some nuggets of wisdom.

Cheers Steve

it keep showing me this Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead

Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details.

What can you do about it?

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it.

If you are on a corporate network or using anti-virus software, you can reach out to the support teams for assistance. You can also notify the website’s administrator about the problem.

Hey, I have a dual monitor setup, whenever I mouse over the sidebar to move to my other monitor the sidebar gets stuck on the expanded state which covers content on the currently open webpage

Is there a way to make the sidebar close when my mouse leaves the monitor?

I have hover to expend enabled, so I would expect it the sidebar to close when my mouse leaves the monitor (as well as the firefox window)

I'll be happy to share any other information related to my question.

i'm trying to help NetBSD by maintaining rust for a number of NetBSD targets. As part of that, I use rust and verify that its "major packages" still build, firefox among them. Recently I found (ref. https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/issues/143904) that by default, firefox would no longer build natively on NetBSD/i386 (really i586 / i686, in 32-bit mode). I found a workaround, namely to turn off address-space layout randomization, but this indicates we are already balancing too close to the border of the 3GB per-process data segment size for comfort. A hint given there was that I could try to turn off LTO (link-time optimization), since it reportedly gives at best modest gains for considerable cost in terms of build time and VM space requirements during the build.

So... This is my first encounter with the firefox configure machinery which is different from most other similar things, and I appear to be unable to find a way to instruct the configure machinery to build without LTO. The configure script accepts `--disable-lto` (no, that is not present in the `--help` output), but evidently this option does not do what it implies: I still see rustc threads during the build which set their name to a string containing "lto".

So... "Help!"
