I set up some custom (number of days in advance) calendar event reminders of my travel plans in my Google calendar via my cell phone. I have my google calendar linked to thunderbird on my pc. I had accepted the invitations before I left on my trip. (looking at the details of the reminder it shows: "You have accepted this invitation.") I returned home from my trip and have several old flight reminders popping up in my pop-up box in thunderbird. I can try to dismiss them, by clicking on the dismiss button, but nothing happens. They do not disappear. But recurring birthday events from my google calendar, which are also in my T-bird calendar, are able to be dismissed from the T-bird Reminder pop-up box. A new event I created today in google calendar, flowed into T-bird with two custom reminders, but no event invite. (Is the issue with accepting invites?) I have tried unsubscribing and re-adding my google calendar, to no avail. I have tried to clear the T-bird startup cache, both with and without being subscribed to my google calendar, to no avail. Any help is appreciated by this confused user, thank you in advance.

i have daily repeat tasks created several years ago. Their notification used to work fine.

Since version 140.1.0esr those tasks notification stopped working. I deleted them and recreated them in a new calendar. Notifications worked for 1 day and then stopped.

Does anyone else have this problem ?

I'm getting constant pop-up notifications for an event on my Gmail calendar, and I can't dismiss or snooze them. I tried deleting the event via my iPhone calendar, where the event was originally created.

It's driving me crazy. I just switched to Thunderbird from Outlook, and I'm ready to abort mission. I can't use Thunderbird if it is going to send me reminders for orphaned or corrupted calendar events I can't dismiss constantly.

Please help!

Server Replied with 400 If you're seeing this message after snoozing or dismissing a reminder and this is for a calendar you do not want to add or edit events for, you can mark this calendar as read-only to avoid such experience in future. To do so, get to the calendar properties by right-clicking on this calendar in the list in the calendar or task view.

Hello. Since calendar category colorization is not very visible ...

... I created separate calendars for every category. This is semantically wrong but has a nice look – events are fully colored by category:

I now regret this choice and want to correct it:

I need to move >1000 calendar events from calendar "medical" to my "home" calendar and (at one go) assign the category "medical":

from [calendar: "medical" / category: none] --> to [calendar: "home" / category: "medical"]

How can I do this ?

The reminders window that normally starts up when Thunderbird opens no longer appears. To be clear it's the window that shows my daily appointments in a separate window. Thanks
