If you notice that a photo or video uploaded by a customer violates our policies, you can request its removal. The photo or video is then reviewed and may possibly be removed from your Business Profile. The review process can take several business days.
Tip: If you notice content on Google that may violate the law, you can report the content. After we review the material, we consider whether to block, remove, or restrict its public availability based on local laws.
Request removal of a customer photo or video with Google Search
Important: If you submit multiple removal requests for the same content, it might delay the review process.
- Go to your Business Profile.
- Select Photos
View all photos.
- Select the photo or video you want to remove.
- At the bottom right, select Report a problem

- Select the reason to flag the content.
- Examples: “Privacy concern” or “Not a photo or video of the place”
- Select Submit.

- On your mobile device, open the Google Maps app

- At the bottom right, tap Business.
- Tap See Business Profile
Photos.
- Select the photo or video you want to remove.
- At the top right, tap More
Report.
- Select the reason to flag the content.
