This repository contains a custom ruleset for extending GitLab's Secret Detection feature with specifically tailored to identify Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in your codebase. This helps ensure compliance with data protection regulations and prevents accidental exposure of sensitive user data.

To fail a pipeline if any raw secrets are found in the code. It uses the GitGuardian API to scan for secrets.
