Hi, I want to run a public SearXNG instance on my Friendica Server (mexico-pensante.blog).
I tried the docker image, and want to expose the port 8888 to the world (HTTP://mexico-pensante.blog:8888), and created a script for starting it; I opened the port with iptables:
However, I get the error:
This site can’t be reached
mexico-pensante.blog took too long to respond.
Try:
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT
Any hints on what is going wrong?
