Is this so that you can nest categories beneath other categories?

Now is sortable commit. And I will do the nest soon too.

I guess I'm asking for what purpose the nested_url code was introduced for?

The nested_url is mainly for the treed categories. e.g.
['country', 'hong-kong']
['country']
['country', 'china', 'macau]
