I noticed last year that v1.09 of the Envisalink TPI document now contains report commands for wireless zones to indicate when they have a low battery condition. Today, I had a low battery on my system so I decided to try to add this functionality that would let me determine which zone was low from within openHAB. Unfortunately after further research, it appears that this functionality is only provided with the EnvisaLink 4 or greater and I still have an EnvisaLink 3. I am going to try to get access to a 4 in order to verify the functionality before removing the draft tag.
