LiveKit’s default mute feature has the audacity to disable the user’s microphone even when it’s not supposed to. This leads to a poor experience for both users and developers.
I opened an issue about this and found that another developer was also affected by the same problem, which confirmed that this fix could be useful for others as well.
The update is small enough not to break anyone’s existing setup, yet critical enough to noticeably improve user experience.
