Summary

How do I specify something should depend on its direct dependencies but not wait for them to finish?

E.g.,

Package: A
Package: B (depends on A)
Package: C (depends on B)

I want to run tsc via the ts:check command in turborepo. I want changes in depended packages to trigger re-evaluation of the package that depends on it, but I do not need to wait for the output.

& = concurrent
=> = in series

Scenario 1:

I configure it like so: "dependsOn": [].
I change something in package A.

Turborepo runs:
A (cache miss) & B (cache hit) & C (cache hit)

Scenario 2:

I configure it like so: "dependsOn": ["^ts:check"].
I change something package A.

Turborepo runs:
A(cache miss) => B (cache miss) & C (cache miss)

What I want

I change something package A.

Turborepo runs:
A(cache miss) & B (cache miss) & C (cache miss)

Is this possible?
