Can you verify that the script run in this job still works with lts/*?

Since the Generate transcript step requires information about secrets, it cannot be tested, but the other steps are working well on my end.

Hello,
In this PR, I've updated the GitHub Actions workflows to the latest versions.
Many of the older versions are no longer maintained, and the authors recommend using the latest releases.
I've also added VS Code-specific files to the
.gitignoreto prevent them from being included.
