What is the idea?
Update the README with more current examples. The ones proposed right now are really out of date (IPython Notebook is Jupyter Notebook for a while, numpy 1.6 is... 12 years old 😂).
It's not that it's incorrect, but showing such an example these days is not relatable, and we might be losing an opportunity to show what conda can really do. One of the comments these days in the socials is "why do I need conda if pip works just fine", and this specific example helps you do something you can already do with pip. Maybe it was a BIG deal to have numpy installed with no issues or compilation steps 10 years ago but these days...
What if it said something like:
