Reproduction steps

  • Play any Dolby Vision video via an app that uses ExoPlayer (Stremio, Jellyfin).
  • Press Back to exit playback and return to UI.
  • Observe the HDMI output signal on your TV.

Expected result

After playback of Dolby Vision content ends, the system should:

  • Fully disconnect the Dolby Vision output pipeline
  • Stop sending DV metadata over HDMI
  • Revert to SDR display mode

Actual result

After exiting playback:

  • The system briefly switches back to SDR
  • Then immediately reverts to Dolby Vision mode, even though no DV content is playing
  • The TV stays in Dolby Vision mode permanently
  • Reproduced in both Stremio and Jellyfin (both use ExoPlayer)
