An issue in older versions of the docker image are fixed in 1.14.1 onwards. This PR Updates the version of the golang base image used in the Dockerfile
This GitHub issue has some discussion on the bug.
Not updating base image would result in a range of users needing to update their Linux kernel and would create an annoying barrier to entry :(
