Generally, the original discussion is that the time used in DUMP in FireX is order of magnitude greater than in FDS.

Thanks. Here is the CPU comparasion. The major difference is the DUMP, which is expected.

I then tried this version https://github.com/johodges/fds/tree/FireX.

The DUMP even needs more time with https://github.com/johodges/fds/tree/FireX version.

Note: I only use one CPU with one mesh block for this benchmark case so COMM needs no time
