I changed the ternary operator to an if-then-else - it was impacting readability.
Also there was a bug here:
obj = geojson.coordinates ? obj = _geometry...
(There was an extra assignment within the ternary operator, causing it to break)

The formatting looked like it was encouraging bugs, so I re-jigged the formatting a bit.
This also seemed to fix a couple of other bugs - the objects returned by the library now seem to support Google Maps' default event binding, among other things.
