To repro:

• Float any document pane
• Maximize it
• Minimize, either using Win+D or minimizing the window hosting the docking manager
• Restore it by clicking on the icon on the task bar
• The floating window is no longer maximized, and has reverted to the position it was at prior to being maximized.
