Why we Created This Forum
The Flutter community has historically been fragmented across various Slack and Discord channels, with Twitter serving as a connecting platform. With the recent changes on Twitter that greatly reduce your reach if you don’t have a paid account, and many people leaving the platform, our community recognized the need for a centralized platform where Flutter developers can connect and package/content creators can reach their users.
Benefits of a Traditional Forum
While perhaps traditional, our forum format offers several advantages:
- Searchability: All posts are indexed by search engines, creating a lasting knowledge base
- No time limit on searching previous posts like on Slack’s free version
- Community Control: Direct oversight of moderation to maintain a welcoming environment

– We may refine titles and content to enhance searchability
– Tags and categories might be adjusted for better organization
- Political or polarizing content will be removed - please use other platforms for such discussions
