Entitlement to Tuition Fee Funding

Students entitled to an exemption from the tuition fee from other institutions of higher education.

Continuing students, studying at the expense of other institutions of higher education, who received the installments page with the amount of the first installment determined proportionately to the amount of exemption from the tuition fee they received in the previous year.

They must contact the Human Resources Department at the institution where they are working with an application for an exemption from the tuition fee for the 2020-2021 academic year.

The exemption form may be sent to the tuition fee unit at the Inquiry Portal.

Where students do not furnish the tuition fee exemption form, the following installments will include the full tuition fee.

New students who have not yet furnished approval of the exemption from the tuition fee are requested to contact the tuition fee unit by no later than the date stipulated on payment voucher no. 1, to bring with them approval from the Human Resources Division at the institution where their family member is employed.

The tuition fee unit will amend the payment voucher according to the amount of exemption and will return the payment voucher to the student. Such students will in any event be required to pay the ancillary fees.

According to the income tax regulations, University employees are liable to tax in respect of an exemption from tuition fees.
