Gemini in AppSheet Solutions for AppSheet Enterprise Plus is now generally available
Add Gemini-powered AI tasks in automations to extract information from an image, PDF document, or text; or categorize information–with more AI features to come. See Overview of AI in automations.
This feature is now available to app creators with Enterprise Plus licenses by default. You can define a governance policy to control which app creators can use AI in automations.
What’s new since the preview release:
- Extract information from text, such as a description
- Choose whether to save to table or return values for use in subsequent steps
- Support for Ref columns as input and output for Categorize AI and output for Extract AI
- Improved error handling

Manage credits for Gemini usage is now generally available
When you use Gemini in AppSheet Solutions, you consume credits based on the number and complexity of AI tasks that are run by users of the apps owned by creators in your organization. For details, see Manage credits for Gemini usage.
Note: You will continue to have complimentary access to explore and learn the Gemini in AppSheet Solutions capabilities by using AI in automations. We plan to track usage against entitled credits in the future.

For the desktop design and new mobile framework (preview), update behavior of action “Data: add a new row to another table by using values from this row”. if the Row ID is specified and exists in the table to which you are adding the row, an UPDATE will be performed. Previously the action was blocked. This fix is being rolled out gradually.
New: Deployed to 100% of free users and 75% of paid users.
Previous: Deployed to 100% of free users and 50% of paid users.

The bug is still alive. With the legacy UX, the action works as expected. The add new row is going to overwrite the existing row with the same key value. However, for the new desktop UX, the story changes. Action is still blocked… Not sure if or not the new code is released .

This is result of testing with my free account.
- VC as key
With legacy UX ; Add new row with existing key value would overwrite.
