Thank you for your interest in the Doctoral Psychology Internship Program (DPIP) at Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC). We are thrilled with the inquiries we have received about our internship positions for the 2026-2027 training year!
The DPIP at DCAC is a mighty (and small) training program. A second psychologist joined the DPIP at DCAC in January 2025. We returned to active accreditation status in August 2025.
The Doctoral Psychology Internship Program (DPIP) at Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC) will be participating in the Match for the 2026-2027 year and is currently in the process of updating our materials detailing the available training opportunities. Program materials will be posted to our website and the APPIC Directory by the end-of-business on November 21, 2025. Applications will be due on Sunday, December 7, 2025; interview notifications will be made on Monday, December 15, 2025; interviews will take place virtually on either Tuesday, January 6, 2026 or Wednesday, January 7, 2026. We will post information on our website, here on the APPIC Directory, and through the Late-Breaking Internship Program Updates via the MATCH-NEWS email list as this information is available. The internship program brochure from the 2022-2023 training year is still available on our website if you are interested in learning about the program we have built. Please note that the accreditation status of the program described in the most recent version of the brochure has changed! The Doctoral Psychology Internship Program is a member of the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Center (APPIC; member code 2527). The DPIP is currently accredited, active, with the initial date of accreditation as May 27, 2022.
