Subject: inconsistent case in --help output
Date: Sun, 01 Dec 2024 02:18:51 +0900
Package: dpkg
Version: 1.21.22
Severity: minor

Hi,
there is no level for how minor that is, but:
$ dpkg --help
[...]
Options:
--admindir=<directory> Use <directory> instead of /var/lib/dpkg.
[...]
$ dpkg-divert --help
[...]
--admindir <directory> set the directory with the diversions file.
[...]
I'm trying to follow the established style, but it seems multiple styles have
been established.

- -- Package-specific info:
This system uses merged-usr-via-aliased-dirs, going behind dpkg's
back, breaking its core assumptions. This can cause silent file
overwrites and disappearances, and its general tools misbehavior.
See <https://wiki.debian.org/Teams/Dpkg/FAQ#broken-usrmerge>.
