Because of its unique applications, an implantable medical device generally requires the power supply that supplies power to it to be small volume, low power and high power transfer efficiency. Not only so, the implantable medical device but also generally has multiple working modes, such as a sleep mode, a measurement mode, a data transmission mode, and so on. In each different working mode, the same implantable medical device typically has a different requirement on the power supply that supplies power to it.

  • the switch driver 103 controls the power transistors in the switch capacitor converter core 101 to stop switching operations. This design further lowers power consumption of the system and limits the overshoot of the output voltage.
  • the DC-DC converter has a small chip area, circuits with low complexity, and high configurability, implementing the controlling method that combines the rough adjustment (adaptive power control) and the find adjustment (DFS) of the output voltage so that the DC-DC converter satisfies the requirements on the output voltage and the load in a wide range, and is especially suitable for supplying power to implantable medical devices.
  • the switch driver is configured to control the power transistors of the switch capacitor converter core 101 to stop switching operations, which not only limits overshoot of the output voltage, but also further decreases power consumption of the system, so that the working efficiency of the system is improved.

Un convertisseur CC-CC pour dispositifs médicaux implantables comprend un noyau de convertisseur de condensateur de commutation comprenant une pluralité de commutateurs de transistor de puissance configurés pour recevoir une tension d'entrée et délivrer une tension de sortie ; un circuit d'attaque de commutateur connecté au noyau de convertisseur de condensateur de commutation et configuré pour allumer des commutateurs de transistor de puissance correspondants dans le noyau de convertisseur de condensateur de commutation de façon à fournir de l'énergie à une charge recevant la tension de sortie ; un routeur de signal de commutation connecté au circuit d'attaque de commutateur et configuré pour transmettre sélectivement des signaux requis par le circuit d'attaque de commutateur ; un décodeur de sélection de gain connecté au routeur de signal de commutation ; un dispositif de commande de gain connecté au décodeur de sélection de gain, le décodeur de sélection de gain étant configuré pour décoder des instructions de sélection de gain transmises par le dispositif de commande de gain ; un dispositif de réglage d'entrée connecté au dispositif de commande de gain et configuré pour recevoir la tension d'entrée et une tension de référence, pour indiquer une relation entre la tension d'entrée et la tension de référence, et pour transmettre la relation au dispositif de commande de gain ; un dispositif de réglage de sortie connecté au dispositif de commande de gain et configuré pour recevoir la tension de sortie et la tension de référence, pour indiquer la relation entre la tension de sortie et la tension de référence, et pour transmettre la relation au dispositif de commande de gain ; un générateur d'horloge connecté au routeur de signal de commutation, au dispositif de commande de gain et au dispositif de réglage de sortie ; et un compteur connecté au dispositif de commande de gain.
