Abstract

Ce système d'acheminement, utile pour transporter des articles d'un entrepôt à un grand magasin, comprend une unité (6) de transport à roues comportant des moyens de commande présentant une barre transversale (20) ainsi qu'un levier (24) d'actionnement destiné à soulever cette barre afin de la déplacer d'une position de non fonctionnement à une position de fonctionnement. Ce système transporteur comprend une bande de transport (30) pourvue, au niveau d'emplacements espacés, de têtes (32) de levage, ainsi qu'une plularité d'unités (50, 60) de stockage dans lesquelles des articles choisis sont stockés dans l'entrepôt, ces articles pouvant être dans des boîtes ou suspendus. On a fixé sur une extrémité supérieure de chaque unité de stockage un dispositif (70) de raccordement destiné à entrer en contact avec l'élément (20) de commande de l'unité transporteuse. Lors de l'utilisation dudit système, des extrémités en fourche (73a, 73b) du dispositif de raccordement s'étendent autour de l'axe (38) d'une tête (32) de levage, le dispositif (70) de raccordement et l'unité (50 ou 60) de stockage attachés à celui-ci étant supportés par la bande (30) de transport lors de l'acheminement, dans l'entrepôt, de l'unité de stockage et des articles portés par celle-ci. Au niveau d'un poste de répartition, une unité de stockage peut être transférée de la bande de transport vers une unité transporteuse à l'aide d'un processus consistant à faire rouler l'unité transporteuse en dessous de la bande (30), à déplacer la barre transversale (10) afin de la mettre dans une position située généralement au-dessous du dispositif (70) de raccordement, à abaisser le levier (24) d'actionnement et à provoquer le soulèvement de l'élément (20) de commande afin de le mettre dans sa position de fonctionnement, mettant en contact celui-ci avec la structure (75) et soulevant l'unité de stockage à partir de la bande.
