The present invention relates to adevice by which the light may be transported or carried to various parts of a room. It especially accommodates itself to-diflerent lengths of cable and is applicable to an ordinary electric-light fixture. An especia feature is that the casing containing this cable-Winding device may be attached to any ordinary electric-li ht fixture. This casing has a screwthrea 'ed nipple which is adapted to be attached to the fixture the same as an ordinary light.
