In addition to the parts heretofore mentioned the grinding wheel comprises a composite hood structure I6. The lower member is hemispherically or dome shaped and is preferably in the form of a sheet metal stamping. It overlies the grinding wheel proper and embodies in the upper central portion thereof a circular hole I9 through which the power driven shaft s extends.
