Abstract
Description
- This application claims the priority benefit of Taiwan Application Serial No. 111104840, filed on Feb. 10, 2022 and the priority benefit of U.S. Provisional Application Ser. No. 63/183,206, filed on May 3, 2021. The entireties of the above-mentioned patent applications are hereby incorporated by reference herein and made a part of specification.
- The disclosure relates to an all-in-one (AIO) computer, and in particular, to an AIO computer with dual displays.
- Conventional AIO computers are often applied to business scenarios, such as bank or restaurant counters, but usually require an external display or an input device, such as a tablet, to facilitate customers to confirm information. Such a method results in difficulty in computer installation, increases the setup costs, and easily causes the compatibility problem of software and hardware.
- The disclosure provides an AIO computer. The AIO computer includes a main body, a first display, and a second display. The main body includes a front surface and a rear surface. The rear surface includes an inclined region. An angle of the inclined region with respective to the front surface is greater than 0 degree. The first display is disposed on the front surface. The second display is disposed in the inclined region.
- The AIO computer of the disclosure provides the second display on the rear surface and the first display on the front surface. Therefore, other expansion devices are omitted. The second display disposed in the inclined region also facilitates customer operations. In this way, not only the installation difficulty and the compatibility problem of software and hardware are avoided, but also interaction with customers in business scenarios is facilitated, which increases convenience.

The features and advantages of the disclosure are described more clearly according to the following description and claims. It is to be noted that all of the drawings use very simplified forms and imprecise proportions, only being used for assisting in conveniently and clearly explaining the objective of the embodiments of the disclosure.

FIG. 1 toFIG. 3 are schematic three-dimensional views showing an AIO computer provided according to an embodiment of the disclosure from different angles of view.FIG. 1 shows a front surface of the AIO computer.FIG. 2 shows a rear surface of the AIO computer.FIG. 3 shows a right side surface of the AIO computer. - As shown in the figures, the AIO
computer 100 includes amain body 120, afirst display 140, asecond display 160, and aprocessing unit 180. Themain body 120 includes afront surface 122 and arear surface 124. Thefirst display 140 is disposed on thefront surface 122. Thesecond display 160 is disposed on therear surface 124. Theprocessing unit 180 is disposed in themain body 120. - The
first display 140 serves as a main display of the AIOcomputer 100, and thesecond display 160 serves as a secondary display of the AIOcomputer 100. The size of thefirst display 140 is greater than that of thesecond display 160. In an embodiment, thefirst display 140 is a touch display, and thesecond display 160 is also a touch display. - As shown in the figures, the AIO
computer 100 includes asupport frame 190. Thesupport frame 190 is disposed below themain body 120 and connected to therear surface 124 to support themain body 120. Thesecond display 160 is disposed at a position above a connection position between therear surface 124 and thesupport frame 190, to facilitate a user to view content displayed on thesecond display 160 or operate through thesecond display 160. - In an embodiment, referring to
FIG. 2 andFIG. 3 , therear surface 124 includes a connection region A1 and an inclined region A2. The connection region A1 and the inclined region A2 are flat. The connection region A1 is adapted to connect to thesupport frame 190. The inclined region A2 is located above the connection region A1 and connected to the connection region A1. A direction of the connection region A1 is substantially parallel to thefront surface 122, and an angle B exists between the inclined region A2 and the front surface 122 (or the connection region A1). The angle B is greater than 0 degree and preferably ranges from 0 degrees to 45 degrees. - The
support frame 190 is connected to the connection region A1, and thesecond display 160 is disposed in the inclined region A2. When the AIOcomputer 100 of the disclosure is placed on a horizontal plane, the connection region A1 is on a vertical plane, and the inclined region A2 is a slightly upward region, which facilitates the user to confirm the content displayed on thesecond display 160 or perform touch input through thesecond display 160. - The
rear surface 124 of the AIOcomputer 100 further includes arecognition module 195 to recognize the identity of the user. In an embodiment, as shown in the figures, therecognition module 195 is a face recognition module, which is disposed above thesecond display 160 to facilitate alignment with the face of the user. In another embodiment, therecognition module 195 is a fingerprint recognition module or another physiological feature verification module. - In an embodiment, referring to
FIG. 3 , the inclined region A2 of therear surface 124 includes an accommodating space S1, and thesecond display 160 is disposed in the accommodating space S1. In another embodiment, the accommodating space S1 is alternatively used for accommodating other output/input modules, such as a keyboard, a touchpad, a microphone, and a speaker. Secondly, in an embodiment, to improve the flexibility in use, thesecond display 160 is detachably disposed in the accommodating space S1. The user disposes different output/input modules in the accommodating space S1 as required. - As shown in
FIG. 3 , theprocessing unit 180 of the AIOcomputer 100 is disposed at a position in themain body 120 near aside surface 126 and behind thefirst display 140. In another embodiment, theprocessing unit 180 is disposed at another position of themain body 120, or even disposed in thesupport frame 190. - In an embodiment, a connector is disposed on the
side surface 126 of themain body 120, and the connector is electrically connected to theprocessing unit 180 for theAIO computer 100 to be externally connected to other electronic modules for expansion. - The
processing unit 180 is a module providing computing power, and includes a central processing unit or a microcontroller. In another embodiment, theprocessing unit 180 further includes a motherboard, or theprocessing unit 180 is a mini computer. - Referring to
FIG. 4 together,FIG. 4 is a schematic view of a use state of an AIO computer according to an embodiment of the disclosure. Thefirst display 140 and thesecond display 160 in the figure are touch displays. - In an embodiment, the
first display 140 and thesecond display 160 are touch displays. Theprocessing unit 180 receives a first input instruction from thefirst display 140 on the front surface of theAIO computer 100 and a second input instruction from thesecond display 160 on the rear surface of theAIO computer 100, and processes the first input instruction and the second input instruction to generate an output instruction. The output instruction is used for controlling display content on thefirst display 140 or thesecond display 160, or the output instruction corresponds to display content. - In an embodiment, at a checkout counter, a store owner inputs information (that is, the first input instruction) about a product purchased by a customer through the
first display 140, the customer inputs the second input instruction through thesecond display 160 to confirm the information about the product or personal information, and after processing, theprocessing unit 180 generates purchase information (that is, the output instruction), and theprocessing unit 180 presents the purchase information on thefirst display 140 and/or thesecond display 160. - In another embodiment, the
AIO computer 100 is externally connected to an input module (not shown in the figure). In an embodiment, the input module is a keyboard, a touchpad, or a barcode reader. Theprocessing unit 180 receives a third input instruction from the input module and a second input instruction from thesecond display 160, and processes the third input instruction and the second input instruction to generate an output instruction. - In an embodiment, at a checkout counter, a store owner reads information (that is, the third input instruction) about a product purchased by a customer through a barcode reader, the customer inputs the second input instruction through the
second display 160 to confirm the information about the product or personal information, and after processing, theprocessing unit 180 generates purchase information (that is, the output instruction). - In an embodiment, the
processing unit 180 receives a first input instruction from thefirst display 140 or a third input instruction from the input module to generate an output instruction, and thesecond display 160 presents display content according to the output instruction. - In an embodiment, a store owner inputs a discount code (the first input instruction) through the
first display 140 or inputs lottery information (the third input instruction) through a keyboard to theprocessing unit 180, theprocessing unit 180 generates an output instruction, and thesecond display 160 presents promotion information (the display content) according to the output instruction. - The AIO computer shown in
FIG. 1 toFIG. 4 above is anAIO computer 100 with dual displays. According to actual demand, two or more displays are disposed on therear surface 124 of theAIO computer 100. These displays are disposed not only above the connection position between therear surface 124 and thesupport frame 190, but also on two sides of the connection position between therear surface 124 and thesupport frame 190. - The
AIO computer 100 of the disclosure provides thesecond display 160 on therear surface 124 and thefirst display 140 on thefront surface 122. Therefore, other expansion devices are omitted. Thesecond display 160 disposed in the inclined region A2 also facilitates customer operations. In this way, not only the installation difficulty and the compatibility problem of software and hardware are avoided, but also interaction with customers in business scenarios is facilitated, which increases convenience. - The above is merely exemplary embodiments of the disclosure, and does not constitute any limitation on the disclosure. Any form of equivalent replacements or modifications to the technical means and technical content disclosed in the disclosure made by a person skilled in the art without departing from the scope of the technical means of the disclosure still fall within the content of the technical means of the disclosure and the protection scope of the disclosure.
